12.4.2007 Kolorado finishes ahead of Masini

We began the racing season in traditional fashion in Bratislava. Both of our current stars started the Petržalka Spring Trophy - Kolorado (POL) with Paddy Aspell aboard and Masini (POL) with Jan Faltejsk in the saddle – and as expected finished in the top two positions. Despite the fact that Masini (POL) led the entire race, Kolorado (POL) finished on top. Our pair of horses in the Jindřich Němčanský Memorial, a hurdle race over 3 000 m, did not fare as well. Babie Lato (POL) finished third in his hurdle debut and newcomer Earlynight (IRE) faulted on the last jump and did not finish.

3.4.2007 First start

We will begin the racing season in Bratislava, where Kolorado (POL) and Masini (POL) will start in the Petržalka Spring Trophy. Last year’s Slovak St. Leger winner Babie Lato (POL) will debut in the hurdles along with five-year-old Earlynight (IRE), who was purchased last year in Germany. Jan Faltejsek and Paddy Aspell will ride our horses.

12.11.2006 Victory in Milan

Our horses made their last racetrack appearances of the year on Saturday. In Milan Diktys (CZE) with Jan Faltejs aboard won the race with the largest purse, a Grade 2 hurdle race for three-year-olds over 3 600 m, the Premio Giulio Berlingieri. In the opening race our horse Masini (POL) finished second to Bejrut in the Listed steeplechase over 4 000 m, the Premio Lainate.

25.9.2006 Gran Premio for Kolorado

In the biggest hurdle race held at the racetrack in Merano, Italy, the Gran Premio Merano Forst, a Grade 1 race for four-year-olds and older over 5 000 m and with a purse of EUR 320 000 our stables had the two fastest horses from the previous years – the winner two years ago, Masini (POL), with Dirk Fuhrmann aboard, and last year’s winner Kolorado (POL) with Paddy Apsell riding. However, he was later disqualified for leaving the course. Both horses were at the front during the race, but Kolorado (POL) proved strongest at the end, beating two other horses trained in the Czech Republic - Pesso and Bejrut. Masini (POL) finished fifth. Our other horses also performed well. Magnus’s son Diktys (CZE) began the afternoon with a close victory with Irish jockey Paddy Aspell in the Premio Renon, a hurdle race for three-year-olds. Theoden (POL) with Paddy Aspell again aboard then took third in the final race, the Corsa Siepi dei 4 anni over 3 500 m (Gr. 3).

14.12.2005 Registana and Kolorado with highest handicap

General handicaps 2005 were published in the Czech turf´s bulletin. Horses owned by Wrbna Racing won all the age categories of the hurdle handicap. The best three-year-old hurdle horse is Theoden (POL) who got a 80,0 kg handicap. In the four-year-old´s category, Lark (CZE) placed first (85,0 kg); Sun Set (POL) came fourth (78,0 kg). In the classification of the five- and six-year-olds, six of our horses were in the top twelve. Kolorado (POL) together with Registana (GER) were rated best handicappers in the Czech Republic.(both 95,0 kg). Duce (POL) came fourth (91,5 kg), Red Dancer (FR) came eighth (89,0 kg), Masini (POL) tenth (87,0 kg) and Hastaven (FR) twelfth(86,0 kg).
