This brown mare started her racing career at the age of three in native Germany when she got only 500 DM out of three starts and didn't finish her debut hurdle race. Hardly anything indicated her relationship with Registan and Regall, her brothers, the two famous German steeplers. Because of this she was available and at the end of the 1999 season she was bought for Wrbna Stable.
Already as a four-year-old she proved that she is not going to ashame her older brothers. She won twice out of five starts and her third place in Markgraf-Berthold-Jagdrennen (L) in Baden-Baden was also valuable.
As a five-year-old, she started eight times, won three times and placed five times. Her victory in Cena Vltavy (L) of Pardubice and second places in Altes Badener Jagdrennen (L) in Baden-Baden and in Premio Belfe in Merano all belong to her most valuable results. She coped well with Pardubice's plough land and also with fast races abroad, she managed to win a 3300m race as well as a 4600m race.
She gained even bigger respect at the age of six a year later when she won four times consecutively, twice in Pardubice and twice in Merano. She finished the season with a fifth place in a competition of French, German and Italian horses in Gran Premio di Merano Forst (Gr.1) that is awarded by an amount of over 14.000.000 CZK
Registana didn't encounter a defeat in a following season of 2003. She started with a victory in Steeplechase di Primavera (Gr.3) in Merano, then won an eligibility race Memoriál mjr. Miloše Svobody in Pardubice and returned to Merano for winning great acclaim in Premio U.N.P.C.P.S. Then, at the end of the season, she fulfilled the difficult role of a biggest favorite and won Velká pardubická steeplechase cross-country (L). So she became a steeplechase queen in the Czech Republic.
As an eight-year-old in 2004 she accepted Almanzor the invincible's challenge and took advantage of his hesitation and won Steeplechase di Primavera (Gr.3) in Merano. She coped well with the local competition in a VP qualification in June just like the last year. After two more victories, she started the 114. vol. Velká pardubická st.ch.c.c. (L) as an obvious favorite, where, under guidance of Peter Gehm, she defended her last year's first place in a record-breaking time almost with a start-finish system.
At the end of the season, she appeared on the English soil for the first time in Sporting Index Chase in Cheltenham. She didn't lose this race but due to Peter Gehm's mistake she had to be stopped in a lead position at the beginning of the home straight when she was reaching for victory. She was declared the Best steepler of 2004 in a Jockey club ČR poll.
She entered the 2005 season only in June due to allergy problems with English rider Jim Crowley in her saddle because he replaced Peter Gehm. She started in Memoriál mjr.M.Svobody and continued with her victorious crusade. Then she won twice in Merano, Italy and entered the Velká pardubická as a hot favorite. Unfortunately she had a problem with a second hurdle, fell for the first time in her life and therefore couldn't reach a clear hattrick as a first mare in history. However this failure didn't deprive her of her top position in a handicap chart of hurdle horses in ČR.
She started 2006 season as 10-years old lady and her training was intent on her last start in Velká pardubická. She showed onstage only in August at Velká cena Skanska and this time with Dušan Andrés in saddle. She met in race her stable colleague Hastaven (FR) who was in life’s form and she couldn’t beat him. She placed 2nd but plus with injury of left front leg and that her discarded for long time from training. It crossed plans for start in Velká pardubická. This legendary mare finished race career a little bit sooner. At the end of October she came in Pardubice to say goodbye to her fans and late November she leaved for Germany to start her breeding career.
The stallion Oscar (Sadler´s Wells), a rising star among Irish steeplechase studhorses, was selected as the first partner for Registana.
