This brown horse with numerous white marks was bought for the Wrbna Stable at an auction sale of thoroughbred horses in Slušovice for 250.000,- Kč from Jozef Piruch as the best one-year-old after a stallion Magnus (POL). His mother is Diftera, who placed well in Cena Velké Moravy (NL) and in Cena vytrvalců (NL) and gave birth to (among others) Derby Sharp and Divine. Diktys hasn't appeared on the track as a two-year-old due to his April date of birth and a longer growth and progress.
In the year 2006 at the age of three he started at flat race and introduced himself with 2nd place and after that he won a smaller race. The most considerable outcome was the 3rd place in first category race Cena společnosti Cymedica and then he started on hurdles. He debuted fourth at Premio Moso at Merano. First victory in hurdles he got at Pardubice by resolution of turf commission (after crowded he was redeployed from 2nd place to 1st). But at Italy on his last two starts he didn’t need any help from arbitral. After ravishing end he won at Premio Renon at Merano and than he finisted the season with victory at Premio Giulio Berlingieri (Gr.2). That is the top for three year hurdles at Milano. By those results he included in the best representatives of Czech breeding and he made the best advertisement to his father – our horse Magnus (POL).
Diktys began the season 2007 with a second place finish in the most important Milan steeplechase for four-year-olds, the Premio Staffe D'Oro (Gr. 3). He then picked up a victory and second place finish in Merano. His season ended early due to a minor injury.
