This big, dark, brown horse is a late one, so he hasn't appeared on the track as a two-year-old.
As a three-year-old he triumphally won his debut. His another victory, this time in the best company, provided him with a participation in České derby, where he came fifth. Then he started in Slovenské derby which was unfortunately quite difficult and so he ended seventh. He hasn't appeared in the rest of the season due to an injury.
In the year 2006 he debuted triumphantly in steeplechase in Pardubice. The next start he got on in Merano in Italy, but at final phase of race he was felled by falling horse and the race didn’t finished. After that he didn’t start till end of the season.
Baggio began the 2007 season with a fourth place finish in the Gran Corsa Di Milano (Gr. 1). He won four of his next six starts, including the Vltava Trophy (NL) in Pardubice and the Premio Lainate (L) in Milan, ranking him as one of the most successful horses in our stables.
