A big, bony black-brown horse (after his well-proven father Don Corleone) came to our stable in exchange for a mare Sotnia (POL).

Due to his January birthdate, Babie Lato was put on the races as the first one of all the two-year-olds. He placed well in all three starts, among other also in 4th place in the Simson's Prize. He was very close to the victory in his third start where he was only three quarters behind the winner.

In the year 2006 he joined the top of three year class. After the victory at Velká červnová cena (NL) he belonged to favorites of Czech derby (G3), but he finished fifth. In August he won at Cena města Karlovy Vary (NL) on deep land, but in Prague’s Saint Leger (L) he failed and he finished sixth. This non-success he compensated at Slovak Saint Leger (L) where he won and beaten the Ryan at record of track. At Domec St. Leger (NL) at Pardubice he beaten Ready for Life.

In 2007 Babie Leto debuted in third place in a hurdle race in Bratislava and followed this up with victories in Pardubice and Vienna. He concluded the season with two fourth place finishes in group races in Merano and Milan.
