Our four-year-old Lark, a fosterling of a stable in Napajedla and a son of Rainbows for Life, was bought in 2005 from a stable called Fitmin to complete the team of the four-year-olds, which suffered mainly the loss of King Marc (GER) and Arganta's leaving for breeding.
At the age of two, Lark started five times - once he won and twice he placed well. In 2004, he started eight times, four of which he won and twice he placed. His mostly appreciated achievement was the first place in the elite Českomoravská cena in Most.
In 2005 he started in the first half of the season and once won - in Jarni Cena in Bratislava, the I. category flat, where he outsmarted, amongst others, the horse of 2001 - Tribal Instinct. After changing an owner, he returned to the track after a four-month break, which impaired his performance in Pardubická míle (NL). Then he passed on to wicker hurdles and persuasively won two times in two starts on the track in Prague. Therefore he placed at the top of the handicap classification of the four-year-old horses.
In the year 2006 he went to Italy after great achievements in last season. At the end of April he fought out promising 2nd place in Milano Premio Celeste Citterio and three weeks later he started at Gran Corsa Siepi di Milano (Gr.1). But at this race Lark suffered serious injury and it cost him his life. At this race started also his stable colleague Duce (POL) and he hurt himself. Promising career of Lark finished sooner than could started.
