1.3.2006 Horses of the year 2005

Darsalam again became the Best horse of the Year. Kolorado (POL) was awarded the best steepler; he outsmarted his stable colleague Registana (GER). Duce (POL) became the Best Hurdler. In this category, he was better than Lark (CZE), one of our other representatives.

14.12.2005 Registana and Kolorado with highest handicap

General handicaps 2005 were published in the Czech turf´s bulletin. Horses owned by Wrbna Racing won all the age categories of the hurdle handicap. The best three-year-old hurdle horse is Theoden (POL) who got a 80,0 kg handicap. In the four-year-old´s category, Lark (CZE) placed first (85,0 kg); Sun Set (POL) came fourth (78,0 kg). In the classification of the five- and six-year-olds, six of our horses were in the top twelve. Kolorado (POL) together with Registana (GER) were rated best handicappers in the Czech Republic.(both 95,0 kg). Duce (POL) came fourth (91,5 kg), Red Dancer (FR) came eighth (89,0 kg), Masini (POL) tenth (87,0 kg) and Hastaven (FR) twelfth(86,0 kg).

10.11.2005 Kolorado won

Kolorado (POL) started for the second time this year and for the second time he won. After his victory in Grande steeple chase di Milano in the spring, this time he won with jockey Marek Stomský in Premio Lainate, a 4000 m steeplechase. He was 3 1/2 lengths ahead of the second horse.

16.10.2005 Registana goes on

Registana in four-year-old Adam Prchlík's version, 8.10.05 Our nine-year-old brown horse Registana (GER), a double champion of Velká Pardubická and the best horse of 2003, is staying in the training for 2006. The original intention of Registana (GER) going to fulfill her motherly duties is postponed till 2007. Unfortunately we won't get to see her on the racing-course anymore this year because of a stab wound that she suffered at this year's Velká pardubická. She will not start even at the end of the season in Cheltenham.

10.10.2005 Registana didn't finish Velká pardubická

Three horses in blue and yellow colors appeared at the start of Velká pardubická vol. 115. Unfortunately, Registana's hope for the third victory in a row dissipated. She jumped the fence very high, didn't land well and lost the jockey. Our next representative Red Dancer (FR) set the pace fast and was the first one to clear the Taxis ditch and Hastaven (FR) was right behind him. They both coped with the ditch well just like the other horses but unfortunately, Hastaven (FR) lost his rider as well in front of the Irish bench. Thereby only Dušan Andrés with Red Dancer (FR) remained on the racing-course in advance of all the others and continued with fast pace, but that turned up fatal for the most of the horses (the race was finished by only 7 horses) and at the same time it contributed to the record-breaking time of this year's Velká pardubická. Unfortunately, Red Dancer (FR) was then at the end of his rope and placed sixth. The winner was Maskul, leaving behind Decent Fellow and Laneret, who came third.
