Batalistyka (POL) started out from the box with the highest start number on the track, 2000 m long, in the Slovak Oaks. The race was slow to get under way and she was drawn on at the end of the field. In a fast finish she battled it out, moved to the front, but it helped her only to rank fourth after Determinacja, Sajgonka and a Polish star, Nick of Memory. On the other hand, it is certain that we have found the cure for her nervosity before her starts in future races. In Prague, a four-year-old Color Man (GB) in just a third start of his life, raced against the elite hurdle jumpers in the "Golden cup of EŽ Prague" and took third place. However, he has a lot to learn. His stablemate, a two-year-old Demon Magic (CZE), made his debut among Czech followers with a second place, when he demonstrated an interesting finish.
Four-year-old offspring of Magnus (POL), Ignacio (CZE) made-up for his unsuccessful performance in August's cross-country race in Pardubice and this time, he won. Twelve-year-old Red Dancer (FR) came back to the horse race events after more than two years and very successfully seconded to half-as-young competitors. In the II. category horse race, he took third place and, thanks to this possibility, was able to enter some of the major races in "Velká pardubická".
Son of the famous Arganta (GER), the two-year-old Arcibaldo (GER*), confirmed his reputation of the best two-year-old horse in Czech Republic on the racetrack in Prague and won the "Gersch memorial (NL)". Little Olmaia (GER*) came back on the track after three months and again showed her big heart, after a struggle to beat the older Awantein has proven successful. In the handicap evaluation, she is constantly rising up and has reached the 75 kg mark. The other offspring of Magnus (POL) in our training, the two-year-old Rytmus (CZE), achieved a third place in his debut and did not disappoint.
After injuries to his hooves the three-year-old Klaus (POL) must have left out the preceding classic races, "Big spring prize" and “Derby”. He started again after his victory in July as a joint favourite for the closing classic race, the Saint Leger. However he did live-up to the expectations, as at the finish of the race, he fell away from the front positions and finished seventh. The reason was, again, painful hooves. Color Man (GB) has, after a longer break, arrived to try the hurdle track in Prague, but did not confirm his winning form from Bratislava and, after a confused performance, he took fifth place.
Fantastyka (POL) won the first race of the Saturday afternoon in the hurdle race for three-year-old horses. However, Ignacio (CZE) did not do well and he did not finish the race.
