This large attractive bay horse, Arcibaldo, is the first offspring of the magnificent Arganta (GER) and the German champion studhorse Dashing Blade (GB). His pedigree stretches back to Shirley Heights (GB). He began training at the beginning of October 2007.

His racing career started in Merano, Italy, by gaining a fourth place. He then won the "Price Masise" and the "Gersch Memorial" (NL), reaching the peak of the year. However, he has failed to defend his position in the "Prize of Winter Favourite" (L) and after some unsuccessful races, ended fourth. In the concluding start of the two years’ season, he easily dominated the "Yoko Cup" and because of this he ranked 2nd in the handicap evaluation of the two-year-old horses.
