This brown horse of a British background was bought by our stable in 2001 at a prestigeous Houghton Sale in Newmarket.
She started four times at the age of two, out of which two were abroad. Her best result was a second place in the Slovak Cena zimní královny.
At the age of three, she appeared on the racing course eight times but scarcely ever showed us her beautifully flat gallop action. However, her best result was in the Slovak Jarní cena klisen (L) on a soft racing course where she placed second. Except for this she placed in Cena Arvy (L), Cena Pat´s Music (L), Slovak Oaks (L) and Pardubice´s St.Leger (NL).
It's true that her results remained beyond the expectations due to her background and purchase price but she has a chance to reclaim her reputation as a breeding mare.
Breeding
At the end of 2003 she was moved together with Oxalana (GER) to a German stud-farm Etzean, where she started her breeding career. She was served by a débuting stallion Sholokhov (IRE).
She gave birth to a mare Skinfaxi (GER*) on February 15th, 2005.
Sweet Answer has grown up a good mother and on April 12nd 2006 she gave birth to her second descendant – the chestnut horse who was given the name Schidione (GER*). Father is a German champion Dashing Blade (GB).
In November 2006 the mare was taken to the Napajedla Horse Farm, where she gave birth on 20 March 2007 to the filly Siran sired by Dashing Blade (GB). She then took several trips to mate with Enjoy Plan in Poland and is expecting another offspring with him.
