15.9.2008 Batalistyka fourth in Slovak Oaks

Batalistyka (POL) started out from the box with the highest start number on the track, 2000 m long, in the Slovak Oaks. The race was slow to get under way and she was drawn on at the end of the field. In a fast finish she battled it out, moved to the front, but it helped her only to rank fourth after Determinacja, Sajgonka and a Polish star, Nick of Memory. On the other hand, it is certain that we have found the cure for her nervosity before her starts in future races. In Prague, a four-year-old Color Man (GB) in just a third start of his life, raced against the elite hurdle jumpers in the "Golden cup of EŽ Prague" and took third place. However, he has a lot to learn. His stablemate, a two-year-old Demon Magic (CZE), made his debut among Czech followers with a second place, when he demonstrated an interesting finish.

26.7.2008 Babie Lato first in Most

Babie Lato (POL) has shown, with the co-operation of jockey Jan Faltejsek, a perfect performance and, immediately in his first life steeplechase, beat the winner of the Velká pardubická's Sixteen. In the Oaks, Batalistyka (POL), did not do well despite being the favourite before the race. Unfortunately, her nervousness before the start was again proved. This would later culminate by the fall of her jockey, which probably had an impact on the unsuccessful finish of the entire race. Batalistyka (POL) reached third place in the Oaks behind Determinacia and Vadeona.

22.6.2008 Batalistyka won the "Prize of stud farm Napajedla"

Batalistyka (POL) gained an easy victory in her second start of the year, at the "Prize of Napajedla stud farm" and, at the closure of the race, she has shown a wonderful finish. The daughter of stallion Jape beat the great Determinacija and, thanks to the training team, managed to take control over her nerves before the start.

2.6.2008 Abroad at the weekend

The last weekend the horses of the Wrbna Racing stable were only seen on racetracks abroad. Batalistyka (POL), after a very restless beginning, gained a valuable third place in the "Arvy Prize“, in Bratislava. On the Italian racetrack in Merano, Ignacio (CZE) then fought out fourth place in his first start abroad.

25.9.2007 Batalistyka is the winter queen

Three horses in our yellow and blue colours ran last weekend at the Bratislava racetrack. In the main race of the day, the Saint Leger, a Listed flat race over 2 800 m for three-year-olds, Savignon (POL) was unable to repeat his performance at the Prague St. Leger and finished third, one and three-quarters lengths behind the winning horse. The other Czech representative, Shaman (CZE), an offspring of our studhorse Magnus (POL), finished sixth. Batalistyka (POL) (Jape) won by one and a quarter lengths in one of the top races for two-year-olds – the Winter Queen Trophy, a Grade 1 flat race over 1 600 m. Tajnaron (POL) finished fifth in the Corsa Trophy hurdle race.
