This big brown horse of an Irish descent, whose father is a proven stallion Darshaan (GB), was bought together with Sweet Answer (GB) in a prestigeous European auction-sale of one-year-old horses called Houghton Sale in Newmarket at the end of 2001.
As a two-year-old he started only once and placed third in an EBF race in Bratislava.
Thanks to his origin he should have belonged to the elite of the three-year-old horses. Unfortunately he sustained an injury before the beginning of the season and had to leave out the classical Velká jarní cena. His first performance was that in Stříbrný pohár (NL) in Slušovice where he came third. However he didn't succeed in the Derby trial in Bratislava and that was the end of his hopes to start in the derby. He managed to win the next race with rider Paul Eddery but was betrayed by his own health state.
He debuted in 2004 in a hurdle race in Pardubice but didn't even finish it. After this he had longer recovery and he was regraded to sport.
