The racing-course has an irregular oval shape, whereas the outer part is a flat course of a 1200m length and the inner part of the oval course is set up with steeplechase fences; both courses are separated by a hedge in the curves and the homestraight. Along the outer part of the plain course is placed a metal barrier, on the opposite side is a wooden fence. In the middle of the oval course are two diagonals with fences for steeplechase and cross-country. The surface of the racing course is grassy, regularly mowed and maintained. The racing-course is drained but up until now without a watering system.
The horse-races over hurdles take place at the flat oval counter clockwise, the finish of other jumps races is in the same direction. The racing-course is built up on a slope so there is a rise of c. 30m between the lowest and the highest point. The lowest point is the destination mark and the course rises quite hardly counter clockwise, then it reaches it's highest point in the rear right corner and then it slowly slopes down on the opposite side and in the left curve. Both diagonals also slope down towards the stands.
All the hedges grow on clay mounds. At the beginning of the home straight there is a platform jump in the racing-course, a water ditch in front of the referee tower, the rising right curve is without hurdles. On the opposite side there is a row of three bullfinches and in the left curve another one. "Pardubice" diagonal leading from the right rear corner involves a Paramon's jump (drop) and gardens, on the opposite "Hannover" diagonal are the biggest fences: a wall with a hedge, a big open-ditch and a big bullfinch. The fences are constructed in a way that they allow the choice of easier and more difficult courses of steeplechase, some of the fences may be jumped over from both sides.
A stand on the home straight with the capability of 1100 places is prepared for the viewers, inside of the racing-course there's a so-called "picnic" area determined for other spectators as well. Various entertaining shows such as paragliding, pony racing, fire brigade exhibition, greyhound racing or cynological exhibits are also a part of the afternoon program. The area involves a market place with lots of refreshment stands, music performance, car and garden tech exhibition, attractions for children and a sanitary facility as well as emergency medical care. A small-animal exhibition is regularly a part of the day. There are stakes totalizators available for the gamers and there's also a raffle for you to enjoy.

For the disabled, a special parking lot close to the main entrance is warranted. The number of the racing day visitors counts up to 4000 paying persons.
