25.9.2006 Babie Lato wins Slovak Saint Leger
We received an unexpected surprise from Babie Lato (POL) in the final Slovak classic race, the Saint Leger Charvát over 2 800 m. After a battle down the home stretch he beat the winner of the Czech Saint Leger by half a length, setting a new course record in the process. The two horses finished well ahead of the rest of the field.
27.6.2005 Baggio fifth in Czech Derby
Two representatives of our stable appeared at once on the start of the 85. Czech Derby - Baggio (POL) and Ozermes (SLO). In this very slow race (the slowest since 1982), mare Ready for Life came first, Baggio (POL) came fifth and Ozermes (SLO) tenth. In the general races, Babie Lato (POL) came fourth in Simson's KonekTela Inc. Prize, a second category 1200m flat, behind Florestano (CZE), our stallion Magnus' get, that came third. Three-year-old Daquan (POL) was also doing well – he came fourth in Nature Prize, a first category 1600m flat for three-year-old and older horses.
