Babie Lato wins Slovak Saint Leger

25.9.2006: Babie Lato (POL) beats Czech Saint Leger winner Ryan in record time

We received an unexpected surprise from Babie Lato (POL) in the final Slovak classic race, the Saint Leger Charvát over 2 800 m. After a battle down the home stretch he beat the winner of the Czech Saint Leger by half a length, setting a new course record in the process. The two horses finished well ahead of the rest of the field.
